MNLU Recruitment Key Information:
Applications are invited on-line for filling up following posts in Teaching Positions: 1. Law: Professors (4), Associate Professors (4) Assistant Professors (3); 2. Humanities: Assistant Professor – Economics (1) Sociology (2); 3. Research Assistants (Law): (5) by Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai.
Executive Council of the University is the appointing authority and final decision- making body with regard to appointment of employees. The scale of pay shall be in accordance with the Maharashtra State Government directives.
MNLU Mumbai is an equal opportunity employer. All things remaining the same, preference will be given to women / differently-abled candidates. The Selection Committee, on the recommendation of Screening and Evaluation Committee and with prior consent of the applicant, may consider the application of a candidate for a post not applied for.
Candidates called for interview shall appear in person before the Selection Committee on appointed date and time. The University may conduct WRITTEN TESTS, wherever deemed fit, to shortlist candidates for the oral interview by the selection panel. Short-listed candidates for teaching positions may be required to take a contact class with students and / or present a Seminar on appointed date and time at the University.

Educational Qualification:
- For direct recruitment at the level of Associate Professors and Professors degree of PhD is essential qualification.
- Candidates having PhD degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline or A Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks or LL.M / LL. B with aptitude for Research can apply to different posts depending on the criteria needed.
