OPTCL Management Trainee Recruitment Official Notice:
OPTCL is looking for young, dynamic and committed professionals to be inducted as Trainees in Electrical discipline. Selected candidates have to undergo training for a period of 1(one) year at field units of OPTCL including induction training at Power Training Centre (PTC), Chandaka, Bhubaneswar. The training period will be for 1(one) year, unless and otherwise extended further.
Vacancies are for requirement all over the state. Selected candidates shall be posted accordingly. Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he / she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in this advertisement. Candidates, who fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria, may apply for the post. The candidates must have a good character.
The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the Electrical discipline paper of GATE 2021, & Personal Interview. Candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Personal Interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in GATE 2021. Candidates will be required to bring their GATE 2021 Admit card and GATE 2021 score card for verification at the time of document verification and Personal Interview / Joining in OPTCL.
The selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond to successfully complete the prescribed training period and thereafter serve the organization for at least three years. The amount of the bond is INR 3,00,000/- for all category of candidates.

Educational Qualification:
- Candidate must possess Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution or Passing of Section-A&B of IE (India) in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for applying to these posts.
- Candidate should have appeared and qualified GATE 2021 conducted by IITs and valid Score should be mentioned while applying.
- They must possess a good knowledge in Odia language.

- Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Pay Matrix: -Rs. 56,100- Rs. 1,77,500 (Level EE-2) Initial Basic Pay: – Rs.56,100/- after completion of the one-year training period.
