The Brij Disa Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence intends to provide impetus for research, industry consultation, assistance in policy making, as well as teaching in the area of Data Science and AI. The Centre aims to play a catalytic role in this changing scenario by producing and disseminating critical knowledge for academics, government, organizations, and leadership, through data science and AI. To meet the above objectives, the centre is looking to hire candidates for multiple open positions.
The candidate is expected to spend 50% of the time on administration and another 50% on research. The individual will be involved in working closely with industry and academic partners to drive the activities of the centre. Along with carrying out independent research on topics/themes that are aligned with the centre’s vision, for instance, sample survey, operations research and optimization, statistics, machine learning, graph theory and networks, and its application.
The General Manager will also have to create a monthly communique from the Centre to take stock of activities within the Centre and recent trends and developments in data science and AI in industry and academia, both within India and globally.

Educational Qualification:

- Prior publications in conferences or journals are preferred.
- A good network in the analytics industry with an experience in administration will be preferred.
