NIO Recruitment 2021: The CSIR-NIO is looking for sincere, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals and invites applications from Indian nationals to fill up the following posts at CSIR-NIO, Goa and its Regional Centres (RC’s) at Mumbai, Kochi and Visakhapatnam.

The CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography (CSIR-NIO) is a premier research laboratory under the banner of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research which is an autonomous body under Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. They are giving a golden chance to eligible individuals with essential qualifications for filling up 15 posts in various positions through a recruitment notification issued in their official website.
Selected candidates may be posted in CSIR-NIO, Goa or any of its regional centers (Mumbai/Kochi/Visakhapatnam). The selected candidates may also be liable to serve in CSIR Hqtr/Any other CSIR Lab/Institute. The number of vacancies is provisional and may vary at the time of selection.
The selection will be made based on the written test and typing test on computer. The candidature of applicants at all stages of selection process will be provisional and is subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the essential qualification laid down for the post as on the last day of the receipt of the applications.
Final merit list will be drawn based on performance in written test and upon qualifying in typing test on computer, keeping in view the number of posts to be filled. The written test will be held in Goa only. The selected candidates are required to provide assistance in functioning of Store & Purchase, Finance & Accounts and any other work assigned to them by the authorities.

Educational Qualification for Recruitment in CSIR-NIO:
- Candidates who have passed/completed 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in Type writing Test at the speed @ 35 w.p.m in English (or) @ 30 w.p.m.in Hindi can apply for these posts.
- Proficiency in computer, preferably in MS Office i.e.; MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point etc will be preferred.
- Certificate courses in computer operations from either Government Institutions or other reputed private institutions will be needed to apply.
