Punjab Police Recruitment 2021: Online Applications are invited from Indian citizens to fill 634 vacancies of ‘Civilian Support Staff’ (non-uniformed) in the Investigation Cadre of the Punjab Police by direct recruitment.
There shall be a Common Application Form for recruitment to various posts of Civilian Support Staff in Punjab police. Last date and time for submission of online applications is 11:55 pm on 07 September, 2021.
Punjab Police Recruitment Detail Notice:
Recruitment of Civilian Support Staff in Punjab Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has been started by the Punjab Police Department with recruitment notification number 5 of 2021 dated 17th August, 2021.
Recruited candidate(s) can be posted/deployed anywhere in Punjab, India or abroad. The selection shall be a 2 (two) stage process consisting of following Tests: Stage I: Computer Based Test (CBT) Objective Type having multiple choice questions. Stage II: Document Scrutiny.
Educational qualification and other certificates shall be got verified from the concerned Universities/Institutions/Boards/Authorities. Before their enlistment in the Police Department, candidates shall be medically examined and certified physically fit for service by the Civil Surgeon/ Medical Board as per the relevant rules.
The recruitment for filling up the vacancies in the cadre of Civilian Support Staff shall be carried out through a Common Application Form (CAF) and Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by document scrutiny. The selection of a candidate shall be on the basis of their respective merit determined strictly on the basis of marks obtained in the Computer Based Test and normalization. A candidate may apply for one or more posts advertised.
